So here we go with another one of my personal favourites. This song is an absolute classic that just never gets old, whether you’re just a lost person on a bus or an executive for Apple Inc Marvin Gaye has just gotta get you going!
“I Heard It Through The Grapevine” was released as a single by Motown Records in 1968. Originally the song was written in 1966 and recorded by Smokey Robinson & the Miracles but the owner of Motown Records, Berry Gordy, wasn’t happy with that version and rejected the version. The song is featured on Marvin Gaye’s 1968 album “In The Groove”. For a time it was Motown Records best selling single.
